What Do You Believe?

What Do You Believe?

10 points on my belief:

••• 1) 'Joshua the Nazarene' is God.

SEE:

• Colossians 2:9 (AMPC)

9 For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature].

••• 2) His Blood is the propitiation for sin.

SEE:

• 1 John 2:2 (AMPC)

2 And He [that same Jesus Himself] is the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins, and not for ours alone but also for [the sins of] the whole world.

••• 3) I am Saved, unconditionally, by the Blood of Joshua the Nazarene.

SEE :

• Ephesians 1:7 (AMPC)

7 In Him we have redemption (deliverance and salvation) through His blood, the remission (forgiveness) of our offenses (shortcomings and trespasses), in accordance with the riches and the generosity of His gracious favor.

••• 4) The Baptism of the Holy Ghost is the True Baptism. There is no power in the water, the Power is in the Blood.

SEE:

• Matthew 3:11 (AMPC)

11 I indeed baptize you in (with) water because of repentance [that is, because of your changing your minds for the better, heartily amending your ways, with abhorrence of your past sins]. But He Who is coming after me is mightier than I, Whose sandals I am not worthy or fit to take off or carry; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

••• 5) We, as Saved, are in a state of Deliverance.

SEE:

• 2 Corinthians 1:10-11 (AMPC):

10 [For it is He] Who rescued and saved us from such a perilous death, and He will still rescue and save us; in and on Him we have set our hope (our joyful and confident expectation) that He will again deliver us [from danger and destruction and draw us to Himself],

11 While you also cooperate by your prayers for us [helping and laboring together with us]. Thus [the lips of] many persons [turned toward God will eventually] give thanks on our behalf for the grace (the blessing of deliverance) granted us at the request of the many who have prayed.

•• This verse emphasizes both past and ongoing deliverance, showing that God's work of deliverance is continuous.

••• 6) Joshua the Nazarene will return to Earth.

SEE:

•Acts 1:11 (AMPC)

11 Who said, Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing into heaven? This same Jesus, Who was caught away and lifted up from among you into heaven, will return in [just] the same way in which you saw Him go into heaven.

••• 7) The Holy Ghost is at work, constantly, to Deliver us to Joshua the Nazarene, when He returns on the clouds, in the air!

SEE:

•1 Thessalonians 4:17 (AMPC)

Then we, the living ones who remain [on the earth], shall simultaneously be caught up along with [the resurrected dead] in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so always (through the eternity of the eternities) we shall be with the Lord!

••• 8) 'Israel' is still the 'Chosen People'.

SEE:

• Deuteronomy 7:6 (NIV):

"For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession."

• Romans 11:1-2 (NIV)**:

"I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew."

••• 9) The 'Gentiles' are 'grafted in' to Israel.

SEE:

• Romans 11:17-21 (NIV):

"If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. You will say then, 'Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.' Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either."

• Ephesians 2:12-13 (NIV):

"Remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ."

••• 10) The Earth was created 5,784 years ago.

SEE:

• Hebrews 11:3 (AMPC)

[3]By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.
